Forest it Design AB, a privately held company, was established 1998 and has evolved to be a leading supplier of rugged mobile computing equipment and GPS/GNSS systems within Europe. Even if the forestry industry was the main target sector from the start, the customer base nowadays represents public, private and governmental companies and organisations from a wide range of different business areas with one thing in common; the need of reliable and professional computer systems to be used in tough and demanding environments.
Forest it Design has had continuously growing revenues since start. The entire growth is operatively based and achieved by organic growth only and the company has never had a year with losses. All profits have been reinvested within the company. There are no external investors, nor any venture capital, involved and the company has a very stabile status of ownership, with the founder and his relatives as the only shareholders.
